Seven medals – a gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze – were gained by our compatriots at the international tournament on traditional karate completed today in the Israeli city Netanya. Over 100 sportsmen from seven countries took part in the contests.
Rustem Annayev, who had no equal in the individual contests of junior group, gained a gold success in the composition of our team.
In the same group, Selim Muratdurdiyev won bronze medal. The second award – silver was gained by the resident of Turkmenistan in the junior contests on kata (complex exercises).
Another two medals – “silver” and “bronze” belong to Didar Hojayev, who has distinguished in male group of participants correspondingly in the competitions on kata and single combats.
Rovshen Hudayberenov became a vice-winner in the single combats among juniors, and Dovlet Berdiyev, who performed in male contests on kata, raised the third stage of podium.
