The first round of Football Championship of Turkmenistan among clubs of major league has completed.
In starting match, the reigning owner of the Cup of President of Asian Football Confederation ITTU won a victory over ex-holder of this trophy “Balkan” – 1:0.
In other matches, no any drawn result was fixed as well. Twofold holder of the Cup of Turkmenistan “Ahal”, representing our country in the group tournament of the Cup of Asian Football Confederation, confidently got the better of debutant of major league “Energetic” from Mary – 6:0 in Ashgabat. The reigning champion of the country the capital’s “Altyn asyr” won a victory with a score of 2 goals to nil over another beginner of the national championship -“Hazyna”. This team was created only a month ago on the initiative of administration of the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management, paying great attention to the development of sports and particularly, football among students.
The first three points were also gained by “Shagadam” team from Turkmenbashi city, having won a victory in administrative center of the northern region of the country over “Dashoguz” team – 4:0.
Game between “Merv” and “Ashgabat” teams was held in Bairamali etrap. “Merv” became a winner with a score of 2 goals to one.
After first round, it has been determined the leaders in controversy of goal-scorers. Altymyrat Annadurdiyev (“Ahal”) with 4 goals is on the top of the list of snipers. Clubmate Kurban Annayev, as well as football players of “Shagadam” Azat Karajayev and Hemra Amanmamedov yield him two goals.
