Final round of the State Project Olympiad of pupils was held in the capital’s Palace of Children and Youth. This contest is held on three nominations – humanitarian, exact and natural disciplines. The participants of the state stage became over 120 authors of more than 80 joint and individual projects. 24 of them were honored with prize places.
As a tradition, a large number of prize places were gained by pupils of the State boarding school for talented children. What kind of scientific projects won the first prize places? In the section “natural sciences”, the owners were the authors offering to arrange the production of soap, shampoo and anticorrosive products on the basis of processing of the wastes of cultured milk foods. Another work was devoted to the study of chemical composition of therapeutic mud for its use in medical purposes, particularly in the resorts of Turkmenistan.
In the section “exact sciences”, original software for cellular telephone on android platform and special method of definite mathematics are worth of attention.
As jury members noted, most of works of schoolchildren are worth of high estimation – for urgency of scientific themes, novelty of researches, originality of practical decision.
Among original designs and inventions are the projects of geoinformation system for agriculture, ecologically pure and economically beneficial wind power station intended for work far away from electricity point, as well as pocket flashlight with special panel, which is filled from the sun. It was also presented a model of original conditioner, which successfully operates, consuming minimum electricity - no more than 12 volts.
Scientific results of observations after intellectual abilities of birds were particularly interesting. Unusual vessel made from roots of ecologically pure and useful from medical viewpoint the plant - desert-candle was of great interest as well. Its roots are dried, grinded into powder, which has particular adhesiveness, then it is used for making a clay and on its basis - a durable jug - vacuum flask, having disinfectant qualities.
