The specialists of the sector and travelers from the USA, China, India, Singapore, Russian Federation, Belarus, and neighboring countries – Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Iran became the guests at the large spring solemnity. The representatives of the European states – the Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Norway and others showed higher activity.
In these days, a group of specialists of the tourism sphere of Malaysia also visited Turkmenistan with introductory trip. It is return working visit of our new partners with whom direct business contacts have been established in February of the current year.
Start to the study of this perspective direction, which expanded the spectrum of intensively developing multisided ties of our country in the field of tourism, was given simultaneously with opening of air communication between two capitals – Ashgabat and Kuala Lumpur. That time, the representatives of State Committee of Turkmenistan for tourism, leading enterprises and private companies – the national tour operators made a trip on the first flight to Malaysia, where rich program was prepared for them. They had an opportunity to see with their own eyes and estimate the possibilities of interaction in the field of organization of trips. So, the current arrival of the Malaysian colleagues, who look forward to active development of tourism market of our country, became the next step in determination of concrete methods and forms of joint work.
