The second day of mass physical-sport and cultural-health actions under motto “Health and happiness” was continued with chess tournament among combined teams of the provinces and Ashgabat.

Among participants, there are also famous chess players – masters of FIDE Azat Silabov and Muhtar Temirov as well as international master Suhrab Temiyev. Tomorrow, International Grand Master Maksat Atabayev will hold multy-board chess play, which will include 100 participants, desiring to measure intellectual swords with titled chess players.


Kurash wrestling Championship of Turkmenistan among men and women started in the administrative center of Lebap province – Turkmenabat.

The exhibition performances of masters of various single combats and martial arts, gymnasts and acrobats in physical and health-improving complex “Galkynysh” became a bright and exciting show. Kickboxers, wushu athletes, freestyle wrestlers, representatives of three different schools of karate and hapkido have demonstrated their mastery. Kickboxing, martial and sport sambo, goresh and taekwondo (WTF) have been included into the program of Asian Games – 2017 alongside with other single combats.
