International conference entitled “Asian Games-2017 – a role of Turkmenistan in sport for development and peace” continued today its work in sections, where it was discussed the issues of interaction at the level of international and national sport federations, as well as considered the world experience of organization of the largest sport events – global and continental.
The first section gathered the representatives of federations of indoor kinds of sport in the conference hall of the National Institute of Sport and Tourism. The teachers and students of mentioned higher educational establishment, other delegates of the forum were also invited for participation in the meeting and discussions.
Among contributors at the sections are the President of Dancing Federation of Asia Keiji Ukai, secretary general of International Equestrian Federation Sergey Buykevich, President of Billiard Sport Confederation of Asia Mubarak Hamad Al-Khyarin, vice-president of Track and Field Association of Asia Aleksey Kondrat, director of technical and Asian competitions of the Bowling Federation of Asia Dante Arnold Santos, secretary general of Chess Federation of Asia Hisham Al Takher, director of gym development department of Asian Football Club Ali Targholizadeh and others.
The guests also paid attention to the equipment of sport complexes of Olympic Township they visited the day before. All its facilities were erected and are constructed in full accordance with the technical regulations of the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Council of Asia, highest international standards.
Another section, which topic was accumulated in different countries the best practice in organization and holding of the Olympic and Asian Games, took place in the conference hall of the School of Olympic Reserve with participation of the representatives of Martial Arts Federations. On behalf of Asian Federations and Unions, their heads delivered the reports: Mohammed Hasan Jalood (weightlifting), Alamzhon Mullayev (sambo), Susumu Yoshid (powerlifting), Naser Nassiri (kickboxing), Cholamrez Jafari (“Turkmen goresh”).
Report of senior secretary of organizing committee of the Asian Games in Inchon Jeongsang Park became very informative from viewpoint of useful practical advices and recommendations. Interesting ideas and proposals were also provided by the officials of companies engaging in technical and other maintenance of sport events. They were presented by general director of “Polymedia” Company Yelena Novikova and general manager of “Maison Dellos” Company Aleksandr Zaitzev.
Analytical review of world practice of organization and holding of the large sport events included such aspects as direction of solemn openings, work with volunteers, advertising and informational support, coverage of spectators and readers’ audience, including involvement of Internet resources as well as reception of guests and many others.
Upon completion of sectional meetings, it was held a solemn closing ceremony of the conference.
