An International Meeting of Experts on Reliable and Stable Transit of Energy will take place in Brussels, Belgium on April 21-23.
The meeting is a new step towards the implementation of the UN Resolution “Reliable and Stable Transit of Energy and Its Role in Ensuring Sustainable Development and International Cooperation”, adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in May 2013.
The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Energy Charter Secretariat in accordance with the decisions of the Energy Charter Forum, held in Ashgabat in December 2014.
In accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, Director of the State Agency for Hydrocarbon Resource Management and Use under the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakaev will represent the Turkmen side at the International Meeting.
