Every time in show jumping competitions, this athlete attracts particular attention: Faina Zaripova is only girl for the present in male group, which takes part in this kind of equestrian contest.
Annually, in the days of solemnities devoted to the Horse Day, the exhibition performances and tournaments on show jumping are held in the manege of hippodromes of the capital. Combination of elegance and accuracy, beauty and checked technical skill makes the competitions on overcoming the obstacles particularly spectacular.
In November 2014, at the signing ceremony of Memorandum between Organizing Committee of V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts, Olympic Council of Asia and National Olympic Committee of the countries of Oceania on participation of 17 countries of Oceania in the Asian Games – 2017, the Olympic Council of Asia has entered another two disciplines – goresh and show jumping in a list of 19 sport disciplines of Asian Games – 2017 at the suggestion of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Within the last years, these kinds of sport gain greater popularity among the youth.
…When several years ago, Faina first straddled a horse, sensed his vigorous willfulness, she understood that only absolute confidence of the racer allows the rider bending this power. She won favor of majestic Akhalteke horses with mild attitude and love. And the result of long laborious task became delicate mutual understanding between the athlete and racer as well as main prize in the show jumping competitions in 2013.
Although nine years ago, at the very beginning of sport career of Faina, her coach, master of sport and experienced rider Durdymurat Kanayev has not believed immediately in her strength and possibilities. Looking after trainings of new “horsewoman”, he was not sure that this girl will overcome the difficulties of equestrian sport. But, persistence of Faina, her attitude to the racers and talent of rider made the coach to pay intent attention to the prospective athlete, who is the best pupil of her coach today.
- Preparing for performance, I always look forward to victory and get my swift-footed friend ready for victory, - says Faina. – Within nine years of work, I had several racers, and each of them demanded individual approach. But, I was not able to win prize places with everyone. There were failures, mistakes, falls, but all this harden the character. In show jumping, it is expressively demonstrated the possibilities of unique Turkmen racers. And when my horse easily overcame complicated obstacle, it seems that time stops during jumping. These moments of happiness adorn the life with brightest colors and fill the soul and heart with wonderful feelings.
