A regular Turkmen-Italian business forum held today in the capital’s Business Center “Mizan” became an important step in stirring up and further expansion of bilateral trade-economic cooperation. Representative delegation at the head of the Minister of Agriculture of Italy Mr. Maurisio Martin arrived in Ashgabat for participation in the meeting organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the meeting of the Italian businessmen with the Turkmen colleagues, it was discussed new proposals and approaches to the realization of potential of bilateral cooperation, ways of establishment of direct mutually beneficial ties contributing to the development of trade-economic relations, including expansion of mutual commodity turnover in food sphere, as well as growth of share of joint investment projects in agrarian sector.

Within the framework of this forum, it was held bilateral meetings of the Italian guests with the representatives of the sectoral ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
