“Ashgabat-Derveze-Ashgabat” auto marathon, which was organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Sports, Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and National Motor Sports Center, has completed in the capital.
Victory in the first national auto marathon was gained by the pilot Muhammet Kurbanov and navigator Serdar Aydogdiyev. Other prizewinners became the crews Didar Orazmedov – Kurban Danatarov and Merdan Toyliyev – Aydyn Mamedov, who won correspondingly silver and bronze medals in the racing on lack of good roads. All prizewinners were awarded with letters of commendation and valuable gifts.
As a result of competitions, the crews for preparation to participate in the international rally will be formed in National Motor Sports Center. First of all, it is rally-road of “Dakar” series, which route will run through three countries of South America in 2016.
