The closing ceremony of the Sports Month that included numerous sporting events, cultural actions and health improvement activities, held under the motto “Health and Happiness” throughout the country on April 1-30, took place at the Ashgabat stadium in the Turkmen capital.



The diverse programme of the large-scale sporting action included dozens of tournaments, various events, thematic forums and conferences held in the capital and regions of the country.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the VI National Sports Games “Turkmenistan is the Country of High Sprit and Health!” took place during the Sports Month closing ceremony.



The awarding ceremony brought together thousands of citizens of Ashgabat and guests to the Turkmen capital, who had a chance to enjoy a bright show performed by sportsmen, popular singers and dance groups.

The performances of young athletes, who demonstrated their brilliant skills and techniques in various sports, added bright colours to the festive ceremony.
