The presentation of the scientific work Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan by President of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov published in the Slovenian language took place in the conference hall of the Turkmen State Medical University.
As was reported, the deluxe edition of the medicinal encyclopaedia translated into the Slovenian language was presented to the Turkmen leader during his official visit to the Republic of Slovenia last week. The ceremony took place in the “Iskratel” Company, the world manufacturer of telecommunication equipment that had initiated the translation of the unique book, which arouses great interest among scientists and experts and a wide readership in foreign countries. The fundamental research work of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about natural medicinal resources of Turkmenistan will be available to the Slovenian audience.
The representatives of Iskratel emphasized that the encyclopaedia was not just a monograph addressed to the narrow circle of specialists, but it was open to all people, the whole world that could feel and understand Turkmenistan better and fall in love with the generous land where the wise and kind-hearted people were living in harmony with the world of nature.
Before the presentation of the book, participants, including heads and specialists of leading medical centres and institutions, students, representatives of public organisations and mass media visited the book exhibition arranged in the spacious foyer of the Turkmen State Medical University.
Those speaking during the ceremony emphasized that the publication of the encyclopaedia of medicinal plants in the Slovenian language, which is the result of many years of research work of the Turkmen leader, would contribute to deepening and enhancing Turkmen-Slovenian cooperation, including in such important spheres as science and education.
