International Exhibition “Textile Industry on the path of innovative development in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state” timed to the Day of workers of textile industry has completed its work in the capital’s Exhibition Center “Sergi koshgi”.
Tens of companies from various world countries, including Russia, China, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, Korea and others took part in the current review of attainments of the Turkmen textile workers, having gained, in turn, a possibility to demonstrate their newest designs in textile industry.
Huge resource and economic potential as well as ecologically pure innovative productions oriented on manufacture of high-quality goods, corresponding with all requirements of international standards, provide high rating of Turkmen textile products in the world market. Cotton yarn and cloth, knitted wear and garments are a significant part of export today.
At the Ashgabat exposition, it was presented a bright spectrum of goods, being manufactured by the enterprises of the sector, including different kinds of natural yarn, fabrics from cotton, silk and mixed fibers, and new models of cloth and house textile.
Fashion show with participation of the leading national designers and foreign guests – famous couturier Vyacheslav Zaytzev, Russian designers T. Parfyonova and A. Ahmadullina, Turkish couturier Muammer Ketenji, fashion designer from Kazakhstan Kurulai Nurkadilova became impressive part of the program.
Creative “Cheper eller” contest for the best modern attire among designers and mistresses of Ashgabat Fashion House, sectoral enterprises and representatives of capital’s wedding salons also became a wonderful surprise for the guests of review – devotees of decorative-applied crafts and art to create a cloth.
Further development of sector in the country is aimed at maximum processing of high-quality national raw material – cotton fiber and production of finished product of the widest assortment. In this context, the current review became the negotiation platform for meetings of colleagues, where it was discussed new mutual proposals, concretized the directions of joint activity, as well as established the contacts with prospective partners.
