At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on June 11, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, having approved the Program of development of innovative activity in Turkmenistan within 2015-2020, as well as Plan of upcoming events on realization of this Program.
Document was worked out by the State Service for intellectual property, functioning at the Ministry of Economy and Development since March 2013.
This Program is urged to bring to qualitatively new level the researches in important trends in scientific-technological sphere, contribute to efficient practical introduction of attainments of science into production, provide leading role of innovation technologies in modernization of national economy, all its sectors.
This program is also aimed at coordination of programs and plans of scientific researches with the state innovation strategy, improvement and development of relevant infrastructure, activization of international cooperation in this field.
Fulfillment of the plan of events on its realization will contribute to the strengthening of relevant legislative and legal-normative basis, all possible support to scientific and innovative activity, wide involvement of youth into it, arrangement of direct connection of science and education with production and business. It will be created the conditions for raising of innovative potential in the country, creation of new industrial enterprises, functioning on the basis of the most leading technologies.
