Turkmen athletes won four medals in the II International Gymnastics Tournament dedicated to renowned Turkish gymnast, world and European champion Murad Chanbashi. Our compatriots demonstrated outstanding results in U12 and U16 age groups.
About 80 sportsmen from Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Tunisia, Serbia and several host teams participated in the competitions taken place in Bolu, Turkey. Six gymnasts represented our country at the international tournament.
Ramazan Hasanov, who performed in six gymnastics disciplines, and Sogdap Berdyeva, who performed in four gymnastics disciplines, won bronze medals in the U12 age group. Lyubov Tsarkova and Maisa Kulieva, who performed in four gymnastics disciplines in the U16 age group, also won the third place.

According to Chairman of the Gymnastics Federation of Turkmenistan Dovran Chagylov, the improved material and technical base of sports schools and regular international training sessions contributed to the success of our sportsmen at the international arena. Turkmen gymnasts regularly have training sessions in the best sports schools in Kazakhstan and Belarus.
