Turkmen students successfully performed in the international Olympiads in mathematics, chemistry and statistics, which were held in the Iranian city of Hamadan on August 15-19.

Students from Iran, the Russian Federation, Germany, India, Iraq, Oman, Sri Lanka and Turkmenistan participated in the competitions. Our country was represented by the students from Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management.

Two students from Magtymguly Turkmen State University won the bronze medals in the mathematics and chemistry contests. The team of the Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management rank second in the team contest in statistics and the team of Magtymguly Turkmen State University ranked third in the team chemistry contest.
