The strongest fighters from 23 countries have taken part in the World Universal Fighting Championship among boys and girls, which was held from September 21 to 26 in the Russian city - Medyn. Turkmenistan was represented by five Ashgabat senior pupils. And each of them, performing in sections “light” and “classic”, has won two medals - silver and bronze.
So, the ninth-form pupil of the capital’s secondary school #6 Amirsha Kabulov, fighting with the strongest sportsmen of a planet in a weight class of 50 kg, has won the third place in section “light”, and in section “classic contact” - the second place. Pupil of the same school Ilyas Berdygylyjov (a weight class of 55 kg) on the contrary: in section “light” won a silver medal, and in “classic contact” - the bronze. The eleventh-form pupil of school #69 Meylis Kichikakayev (a weight class of 60 kg) finished competition with the same high result.
The eleventh-form pupils of school # 70, who have participated in the World Championship, Enver Kichikakayev (65 kg) and Begenchmyrat Myradov (70 kg) deserved good responses of the experts. The first of them in “light contact” won a silver medal and in “classic contact” - the bronze, and the second - in “light contact” - bronze and in “classic contact” - the silver medals.
In total, in the championship of a planet, our young “universal” fighters have won 10 medals - five silver and as many bronze. Universal fighting is the complex type of sports, representing a double-event, including overcoming of a special strip from any obstacles and duels on a ring.
