In the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan, it was held the presentation of the certificates founded by the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) to twenty leading coaches and sportsmen of our country. They have mastered a ten-day technical course of the first level on training of coaches, which was held in Ashgabat by lecturers of IAAF Yevgeniy Shumarin (Tajikistan) and Larisa Ivshina (Kazakhstan).
The organization of similar training courses, first of all, is caused by preparation of coaching staff for V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts in Ashgabat, which program also includes track and field athletics.
Theoretical trainings were held in the National Olympic Committee, and practical - on racetracks of sport complex “Kopetdag”.
At present, the Turkmen athletes prepare for the international training season to be held from November 30 till December 12 in capital of the Russian Federation - Moscow. They will become an important stage of preparation for responsible competitions - the Championship of Asia that will take place in February in Qatar, and the World Championship planned for March of next year in the United States of America.
The national team of Turkmenistan also started the preparation for the Summer Olympic Games of 2016 in Brazil. The definitive composition of “Olympians” is not defined yet as it will be held several qualifying tournaments, where it will be played the permits for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
