Within the framework of visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to People’s Republic of China, the members of the government delegation of Turkmenistan held a series of bilateral meetings and negotiations with the representatives of business circles of PRC, in the course of which it was held the view exchange on prospects and ways of intensification of partnership of many years in the context of realization of available bilateral agreements, concretized the plans of further interaction.
In particular, during negotiations with representatives of the Chinese Engineering Corporation CAMC, it was discussed the projects of construction and reconstruction of existing carriage-repair factory in Serdar city and construction in our country of new plant for repair of passenger carriages. The companies “China Sinopharm International Corporation”, specializing in the field of export-import of pharmaceutical production, and “Jiangsu Guotai Int’l Group Hengyuan Investment Development Co. Ltd”, which activity is connected with investments, financial sector, trade, real estate, hotel business, etc., have expressed interest in realization of the construction project of modern plant for manufacture of dense liquorice.
Plans on deliveries of computer techniques were discussed with representatives of the companies “Lenovo Group Limited” and “Forever Wise (Hong Kong) Limited”, and of China National Petroleum Corporation (“CNPC”) – on new joint projects in the field of oil and gas production, creation of petrochemical structures, manufacturing of the oil equipment.
A number of new proposals were presented to Turkmen partners by “Huawei Technologies Co Ltd.” Company on development of cooperation in railway sector, oil and gas complex, and in the sphere of education. In particular, it was discussed the projects connected with installation of SCADA systems and communication at “East-West” pipeline, the project of “electronic education”, being financed owing to funds of the grant of government of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the plan of trainings for specialists of education sector within the framework of “Huawei” program “ Grains of future”.
Besides, a subject of negotiations with “Jiangsu Guotai Int’l Group Hengyuan Investment Development Co. Ltd” became the partnership in the field of municipal building, registration of mass cultural actions. Issues connected with creation of joint wholesale markets in Turkmenistan and China for realization of consumer goods, construction of the plant on processing of goat wool and manufacture of knitted products were discussed with “Qinghai Cashmere Industrial Group Co. Ltd” Company.
Among other perspective directions of partnership, including with China Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation (“CPMIEC”), China North Industries Corporation (“NORINCO”), “CETC International” Co. Ltd., it was highlighted the spheres of high technologies, industry, electronics.
