At the International Thai boxing Tournament completed recently in Antalya (Turkish Republic), the Turkmen sportsmen won 7 medals - one gold, three silver and three bronze. Sportsmen from 12 countries took part in competitions.

M. Rovshenov (weight class up to 71 kg) has risen on the higher step of a podium as a part of our team. “Silver” was gained by J. Aynazarova (up to 57 kg), M. Saparmyradov (up to 67 kg) and R. Rasulov (over 91 kg). Yu.Bashimov (up to 71 kg), N.Tekayev (up to 75 kg) and K. Ilmyradov (up to 81 kg) became the bronze prize-winners.

The Thai boxing is included into the program of V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts to be held on the basis of Ashgabat Olympic Township in 2017.
