The 7th meeting of Turkmen-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission for economic cooperation was held in Ashgabat.
Agenda of the meeting included a range of issues on prospects of development of the Turkmen-Belarusian relations in a series of priority trends. Among them, it was mentioned fuel-energy complex and trade-economic sector, construction of modern processing enterprises, high-technology sectors, delivery from Belarus of the specialized equipment, vehicles and agricultural machinery, light and textile industry and others.
Meeting participants spoke for expansion of interactions in cultural and humanitarian sphere, including in the field of education and training of highly qualified staff for Turkmenistan, as well as in the sphere of tourism, physical culture and sports.
Within the framework of business forum, it was planned bilateral meetings at several ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, where it will be discussed the prospects of joint work in a series of directions.
