Seminar on strategic planning of the state governance system was opened today in the Academy of State Service at the President of Turkmenistan. Deputies of the National Parliament, leading specialists of a series of ministries and departments, representatives of Ashgabat city municipality were invited for participation in the seminar, being held within the framework of cooperation of the Academy with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
Main purpose of the seminar is professional development of the government employees in development and realization of the state socio-economic programs, coordination of activity of the central and territorial governing structures, familiarization with more efficient world practice in this sphere. International consultant on increase of potential of employees in the field of legislative and legal foundations of the state system of government and management Zhelko Sevik delivered a review report for participants.
Active cooperation with international organizations, including UNDP, European Union, UN Population Fund, UNICEF as well as largest foreign scientific-training centers, realization of joint programs and projects on exchange of experience and introduction of leading methods in training process, creation of multimedia training materials, organization of traineeships and study trips to foreign countries serve for attainment of this purpose. At present, the Academy takes part in the development of cycle of UN Program UNDAF for Turkmenistan within 2016-2020.
International consultant Zhelko Sevik will also hold a series of lectures and practical lessons on improving the awareness quality of government employees about international experience of state authorities and management of the foreign countries in the field of economic activity, banking management, and interregional cooperation, civil and public-private partnership.
