In Fencing Tournament in the capital of Kingdom of Bahrain – Manama, our compatriot won a victory in female group of participants, and in boxing competitions in Pavlodar (Kazakhstan), the Turkmen representatives won silver and bronze medals.
Nearly 100 sportsmen from 12 countries – Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and others took part in “musketeer” duels. In composition of national team of Turkmenistan, student of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism Mengli Goyunliyeva has distinguished. She was beyond comparison in competitions with swords, where over 20 fencers competed for medals.
For attainment of final stage of the tournament, the athlete from Balkanabat (Balkan province) held 6 duels, having won a victory in 5 of them. Then, on the way to decisive fight, M. Goyunliyeva took out from further fight for medals two representatives of host team of the tournament and one from team of China. In the final, our compatriot confidently gained a victory over rival with score 15:9.
Pupil of the Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Vitaliy Kagramanov and Tatyana Yermolayeva has participated in this traditionally annual tournament. In the last year, she also reached the final, having become a silver prizewinner. Having analyzed the mistakes, the Turkmen athlete and her coaches continued intensive training process, and as a result, it was gained the present victory.

If, Shohrat had the first award in guest competitions then Aziz Bebitov participated more than once in the largest contests of international level, having gained good results but now, his best attainment is bronze medal of XVII Asian Games taken place in the last year in Republic of Korea.
