Participants of the student duet “Ynam” (“Belief”) in composition of Guvanch Shammiyev (the third-year student) and Firuza Mamedova (the second-year student) from the Turkmen National Conservatoire returned to Motherland as laureates and winners of an award of two international contests held in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation – Ufa. Turkmen delegation was headed by tutor of young musicians - the head of department “national instruments” Bahar Goshayeva.
Two musical contests – the 5th International Contest “Accordionissimo” and the 2nd International Contest for prize of Vichaslav Belyakov, Honored worker of arts of Russia and Bashkortostan, Professor of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music hosted in Ufa over two hundred soloists and nearly twenty ensembles from different cities of the world.
In Contest “Accordionissimo”, in the category “ensembles”, the Turkmen duet raised the third stage of symbolic podium. In nomination, “solo performance”, the third place and title of laureate was awarded to Guvanch Shammiyev.
In Contest for prize of Vichaslav Belyakov, the Turkmen duet raised the third stage of symbolic podium. This time, Firuz Mammedov became the third prizewinner in the category “solo performance”.
During whole history of national school of playing accordion, our country was first represented at the international contests on this musical trend, having demonstrated one of the best team results.
