Its initiators were the students of the International University of the Humanities and Development. With the participation of the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the intellectual review of the future specialists -foreign affairs experts was organized at IUHD. Contestants have presented reports in English on a theme “Introduction of information technologies into education system of Turkmenistan”.
Participants of both teams approached in detail and reasonably to the coverage of the offered theme, but nevertheless, the representatives of the International University of the Humanities and Development were more convincing that provided them the lead. The representative of the Higher School of Diplomacy - the third-year student of faculty of the international relations and diplomacy Akmuhammet Yusubov was awarded with the honorable certificate “For oratory”.
Within the framework of the event, it was highlighted the activity of Diplomats’ Club founded at the International University of the Humanities and Development in November of the last year. During presentation, the head of Club Amangurban Kuvadov has underlined that main goal of this high school association is the development of personal, intellectual and professional skills of the future diplomatic workers, stimulation of their social activity, aspiration to outlook expansion.
Students visit diplomatic club during time free from studies. Besides facultative lessons, the meetings with representatives of the diplomatic missions became traditional. Its format is aimed at increase of the level of professional training of students-foreign affairs experts.
Among events devoted Day of Diplomats and National Flag Day of Turkmenistan organized at IUHD, there are thematic conferences, seminars, “round tables”, creative and intellectual competitions, as well as demonstration of films in foreign languages about diplomacy art.
In these days, in the hall of the International University of the Humanities and Developments, it was organized the exhibition representing the collection of books, magazines, the thematic articles devoted to foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
