Along with expansion of commercial relations, documents stipulate creation in Turkmenistan of modern manufactures focused on import substitution and export.
It is the first visit of heads and representatives of the large Chinese companies to our country, organized by representation of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan opened last year in Beijing.
Within the frameworks of stay the delegation members of the People’s Republic of China have familiarized with work of Turkmen private enterprises, their possibilities, quality of let out production, held bilateral meetings, as well as presented their goods at the joint exhibition at the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The great interest of the Chinese visitors was involved in stands with Turkmen national jewels and carpets, production of the textile enterprises, as well as food-processing industry of our country. In turn, the Chinese manufacturers have shown their equipment for power and oil and gas industry, construction materials, products of cashmere factories, services in the field of restaurant business and export-import transactions.
Sharing impressions, the Chinese entrepreneurs have noticed that their stay in Turkmenistan was very informative and interesting. They had a possibility to see with their own eyes and estimate a level of development of the private sector of our country, its security thanks to large-scale state support, and within the limits of negotiations not only to define perspective directions for bilateral cooperation, but also to find partners for realization of joint projects.
Thus, “Qinghai cashmere industrial group co., Ltd” together with Turkmen company "Oguzabat" agreed to create in Ashgabat a manufacture of cashmere from Turkmen raw materials. Moreover, this is only the first stage of investments planned by this Chinese company to Turkmen economy.
Representatives of another Chinese company – “Pekin Sancuan Sencyuri Teknoloji Ko. Ltd» together with “Merdana Turkmen” company plan to adjust manufacture and service of the equipment for oil and gas complex.
In plans of other Chinese companies which have also found partners in Turkmenistan and signed protocols on intentions, - construction of enterprises on manufacture of cellulose, factory on release of filters for automobiles, trucks and agricultural machinery. Arrangement on foundation of joint production on release of metal products, gas generators, granite and marble processing is also reached.
Each of the planned projects provides satisfaction of requirements of the Turkmen market in this or that production, as well as export to China of the goods made in Turkmenistan joint ventures. As well as opening in Turkmenistan and China of shops where products of traditional crafts of the two countries peoples, production of the modern enterprises will be presented is planned. Turkmen and Chinese businesspersons also plan to open restaurants of national cuisines. As restaurateur Ma Zonghaj managing "Salar" company has noted in interview, he dreams to develop a network of Turkmen-Chinese cuisine restaurants in all extent of the Great Silk way. However, the first restaurant will be opened in Ashgabat.
Besides, a number of the signed documents stipulate expansion of traditional trade relations, creation of Trading houses.
