The winners and prize-winners of the championship of Turkmenistan Dance Sport among juniors and adults were determined. Participants competed in the most beautiful discipline of the sport - the Latin American style (samba, rumba, cha-cha-cha, jive and paso doble).


As expected, won the duo Alexander Sisekin - Barbara Pivovarova, which showed the best results in all categories. In the assets of the dancers Ashgabat are not only wins in the national level tournaments. So, at the World Dance Olympiad in 2014 in Moscow, the Turkmen pair won silver medals. In the junior group in the lead were Ruslan Yunusov and Lydia Gogolev.


Sports dances are included in the program of V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts, which will take place next year in Ashgabat. And the current national championship was an important step in preparation for these complex competitions that will gather a record number of teams participating: from 45 Asia countries and 17 Oceania.


This month, our dancers will take part in international training camp in the Kazakh city of Almaty, in which will be held an international tournament.

In the autumn on the basis of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat scheduled to hold test international competitions in sport dancing.
