“ITB Berlin” - one of the largest tourist forums in the world. This year, it is held the 50th time. From the first minutes of the opening of the jubilee exhibition - March 9, in the “Messe Berlin” Expo Center - the pavilion of Turkmenistan attracts many visitors. A variety of visual and information materials: brochures, photo books, periodicals and other literature, as well as films, being demonstrated on the monitors, disks with video plots and maps with tourist routes of our country are offered for attention of visitors.
Developed cultural program of Asian Games-2017 will allow guests to widely demonstrate its tourism potential of the country, to draw attention to our monuments of archeology and architecture, unique landscape attractions, historical and legendary places, as well as museums, theaters, exhibition halls. An important place in this program is allocated to familiarity with ethnographic and folklore wealth, national crafts, modern arts and monumental art.
The visual part of the national exposure amounted photo panel with the image of the famous historical and cultural monuments and natural sights of the Turkmen land, modern urban planning masterpiece, luxury hotels, including the national tourist zone "Avaza".
On the extensive business platform of the international forum in Berlin there are provided wide opportunities to demonstration of proposals, establishment of new business contacts that will give impetus to the integration of the tourism industry of Turkmenistan into global travel infrastructure. First two working days of our delegation to the “ITB Berlin 2016” showed that Turkmenistan perfectly responds to the growing among European fans travel demand for historical tours of places with natural exotics, contrast of antiquity and modernity. Foreign experts believe that among new areas the most promising ones are environmental and culinary tourism. But the main thing that has always attracted and attracts tourists to our country, remains its unique cultural heritage.
As you know, on March 4th meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers according to the decision of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism has entered the system of cultural organizations and institutions. As the leader of the nation noted, the fact that the Ministry of Culture and the State Committee for Tourism will work in the new format, will create conditions for their closer interaction, will contribute to the intensive development of the tourism industry at the expense of active involvement of tourists visiting the historical and cultural monuments of our country.
