In the course of the meeting with the delegation arrived in the Turkmen capital at the head of the Chairman of the Deputies Chamber of Parliament Yan Gamachek, it was held the interested view exchange on issues of expansion of the Turkmen-Czech cooperation, successfully developing both in the area of bilateral interaction and within the framework of dialogue Turkmenistan-European Union.
As the head of the Czech delegation has underlined, in his country it is highly appreciated the peaceful foreign policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and the advanced international initiatives aimed at maintenance of universal peace, well-being and sustainable development. Having noted available huge potential of Turkmenistan, which has achieved impressive heights in socio-economic and cultural development, Yan Gamachek expressed interest of the Czech Republic in expansion of multi-aspect dialogue with our country as exclusively perspective and reliable partner.
During conversation, the visitors have been acquainted with the major aspects of foreign and home policy of Turkmenistan, tasks of socio-economic programs realized in the country and projects initiated by the nation leader. It was noticed that great possibilities for business partnership are opened in fuel-energy complex and transport -communication sector, where our country has advanced a number of initiatives on creation of the international transit-transport corridors, connecting megaregions of the Eurasian continent.
Among perspective area, it was mentioned the trade-economic partnership, interaction in industrial sphere, agriculture, pharmaceutical branch, fields of high technologies and use of alternative energy sources, investment activity.
The special accent has been made on development of close interaction in the area of inter-parliamentary ties.
It was emphasized the importance of activization of cooperation in humanitarian sphere, expansion of scientific-educational contacts and cultural exchanges as well as in the area of tourism and sports. In this connection, it was underlined the significance of the announcement of 2016 - Year of honoring the heritage, transformation of Fatherland as vivid evidence of careful attitude of our state to the history, spiritually-cultural values and traditions.
