This International Tournament of “Grand prix” series has taken place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of our country have won 11 medals, six of which the gold, two silver and three bronze. This absolute success, which the fighters have devoted to upcoming Nowruz Holiday, has provided to our compatriots the first place in team event.
The Turkmen national team was presented by 12 sportsmen (six persons in male and female groups), and almost each of them laid a way to a podium. Three gold, one silver and two bronze medals were won in female competitions. It is particularly worth mentioning the victory of Jahan Muhammedowa, who performed in a weight category up to 76 kg. The instructor of sports school of №1 of Turkmenabat has finished final fight to own advantage after only 19 seconds after starting whistle of the referee: an effective rush has thrown down the competitor Jahan - the Iranian athlete - on shovels.
The preschedule victory of the student of National institute of sports and tourism of Turkmenistan Dinara Hallyewa (66 kg) also was impressing. In decisive duel she has met with representative of tournament hosts who could oppose nothing to resolute actions of our compatriot, having lost with "the whitewash" result 0:6.
The third "gold" in a coin box of sport achievements of our country was put by the student of the same high school Rano Uzakowa (72 kg), having finished a duel on own advantage during the meeting first minute.
Rank of the vice-champion has won Lachin Badaglyewa (52 kg), Zarina Abdyrahmanowa (60 kg) and Maksuda Yegenberdiewa (over 75 kg) have received two bronze awards.
Three victories gained by the Turkmen sportsmen in men's group, also have appeared prescheduled. Decisive fight of heavyweights in over 100 kg weight category has become one of the most entertaining, where Turkmen sportsman Rejepaly Orazalyew has enough confidently overcome the strong fighter from Russian national team.
The silver medal was won by Ovezgeldy Berdiyew (up to 90 kg), and Wepa Orazmyradow (up to 100 kg) has risen on the third step of the podium.
According to instructors of Turkmen sportsmen - Serdarberdy Rejepberdyew and Nasiba Surkiewa, the success in Bishkek is a result of the multidisciplinary approach to training process that brings good results thanks to regular exit gathering and competitions.
