The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting in the framework which it was signed a number of documents between the Government of Turkmenistan and the UN agencies, aimed at building a constructive partnership on priority areas.

Including the following documents: the Plan of Action Program of Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the UNFPA for 2016 -2020 years and the Action Plan of the Program of Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and UNICEF for the years 2016-2020 years, prepared by the Interdepartmental Commission to ensure compliance with Turkmenistan's international commitments in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law, in conjunction with the above-mentioned UN agencies. In addition, it was signed a Protocol on Amendment Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Fund for Population Activities on co-financing.

As noted both sides, the signing of these documents will facilitate the further development of fruitful cooperation with the United Nations, which became more effective in recent years and has reached a qualitatively new level.
