The fifth Turkmen-Russian economic forum was held in Yekaterinburg

The representative delegation of Turkmenistan arrived to participate in the regular business forum in administrative center of the Sverdlovsk region (Russia), which included heads of leading ministries and its branches, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The Russian side represented the heads of government agencies, as well as about 100 major enterprises and companies specializing in the field of information and communication technologies, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, design and construction, chemical industry, carriage engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy and others.

During the forum, the sides exchanged views on increasing cooperation in trade and economic spheres, fuel and energy complex, agriculture, textile, food and chemical industries, etc. Among the major topics for discussion were effective forms of partnerships aimed at more effective way to utilize economic and intellectual capacities of our country and Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation.

Consolidation of bilateral economic relations represents joint investment projects, sustainable partnerships with ministries, and departments, banks and developmental institutions, continual information exchange and etc.

This meeting is another illustrative example of the mutual efforts to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in key areas. Kindly noting the business nature of the Turkmen-Russian cooperation built on a long-term basis; the participants emphasized the importance of such forums in the process of development of approaches to developing a common platform for further productive cooperation.
