In the second day of competition our sportsmen won 3 more medals- two of which are silver and a bronze in the individual fighting for female and male groups.
Firstly, it is noted that the success of Goshanyyaz Durdyev, who is a vice champion (57kg). In semi-final performance, Goshanyyaz knocked out his advanced competitor from the strong team of China. In conclusive fighting, the competitor of Goshanyyaz was from Democratic People's Republic of Korea (a motherland of Taekwondo) ended the game in a draw. After the disagreements of judicial board the competitor of Durdyev G. snatched a victory. As a result, our sportsman won silver medal.
Today, the second place won Mahri Agayeva, who is a trainer of Federation of Taekwon-do ITF of Turkmenistan in the final game (51 kg) also competed with representative of the team of Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and after two rounds in the persistent struggle yet gave a medal up to her.
Bronze medal was awarded to Vepa Ovezov, who is a student of Turkmen State Institute of Culture, where not only teach future cultural figures and art professionals, but also train to be physically healthy and spiritually perfect.
