The forum was organized by the «Microsoft» corporation, which was attended representatives of ministries and branch ministries, banking institutions of Turkmenistan, as well as foreign experts.

The subject of discussion was tendency of development of high technologies in all sectors of national economy in era of might and happiness. In this context, cooperation with foreign partners including world known companies to increase effectiveness of public administration, development of "electronic government", modernization of municipal facilities and services of various sectors of the economy, attach a great importance.

Speakers noted a broad outlook for development of information systems, opened with launch of the first national communication satellite «TürkmenÄlem 52 ° E». It is also considered the use of licensed software products to counter cyber threats. There were "round table" discussion in the seminar dedicated to issues of cooperation in the field of development and optimization of IT-infrastructure in Turkmenistan.
