With a test match with the substitute "Akhal", the youth team of Turkmenistan (under 23) on football has completed the second training camp in preparation for the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2022, which will be held from 23 to 31 October 2021 in Jordan. The game ended with the victory of the “Akhal” reservists - 2: 0.

As reported in the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, during two training camps in Ashgabat, the youth team played five test matches. During the first of them, Akhmed Agamuradov's wards played twice against the vice-champion of Turkmenistan “Akhal” (1: 2 and 2: 2) and defeated “Ashgabat” - 3: 0. And during the second they lost to the bronze medalist of the championship of Turkmenistan-2020 "Shagadam" from the city of Turkmenbashi - 0: 1 and to the substitutes of "Akhal" - 0: 2.

According to the head coach of the youth national team of Turkmenistan A. Agamuradov, the past matches allowed viewing about 50 candidates for the team. Based on their results, the optimal composition of the national team will be formed, which will continue to prepare for the responsible games in Jordan.

Recall that in the qualifying tournament of the Asian Youth Cup-2022, Turkmen footballers will play in group "F" with teams from Palestine and Jordan.

The winners of 11 groups and the four best teams, who took the second place with the best indicators, will reach the final part of the competition.

In the final tournament, which will be held from June 1 to June 19, 2022 in Tashkent, Uzbek footballers will join them as hosts.
