The Asian football confederation has published a report where it has selected the best football players of the first group teams of final phase of the World Cup qualifying tournament. The Iranian football player Sardar Azmoun of Turkmen descent is among them; besides he was nominated a star of the team of Iran on this tournament.

In its announcement AFC has highly appreciated Sardar Azmoun, a forward of the «Zenit» football club and of the national team of Iran.

The forward line of the Iranian team is formed by the good forwards, but Sardar Azmoun appears as a main forward in the national team.

Azmoun is a 26 years old Iranian football player, the forward of the «Zenit» club and of the national team of Iran. He is the second hitman among the legionnaires in the history of the championships of Russia after the Brazilian Vagner Love.
