After the victory gained over the Maldives – 3-1, the sportsmen coached by Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Ya. Hodjageldiev drew the game versus Palestine – 0-0 and ranks the first in Group A with four points.
Footballers of Palestine defeated 2-0 the team of Nepal and gained four points. But due to the score difference, they rank the second in Group A.
Defeating 1-0 the hosts – the national team of Nepal in the second round, the Maldives rank the third with three points.
The national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with six points leads in Group B.
Two top teams of each group will play in the semifinal.
