International construction exhibition in Ashgabat

The International construction exhibition organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan opened in the Turkmen capital. The opening ceremony was attended by the cabinet ministers, the heads of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, ministries and departments, diplomatic missions accredited in our country, public organisations, Turkmen and foreign businessmen, experts and journalists.


Within the years of holding this international forum, it has turned into one of the most prestigious annual exhibitions in the fields of construction, architecture, building materials manufacturing and design. The membership of Ashgabat forum participants vividly proves the huge interest of world business circles in the rapidly developing construction industry of Turkmenistan. This year, over 130 companies from 14 countries, including Russia, Germany, Austria, China, Japan, India, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Ukraine take part in the exhibition. Among them the old and reliable partners of our country as well as new companies interested in establishing business cooperation and working on the promising Turkmen market.


Turkmen construction companies and departments that rapidly explore and apply the world achievements in the construction industry, including design and construction of fashionable offices, residential areas and large industrial and social facilities achieve a qualitatively new level. The reforms initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the policy aimed at supporting entrepreneurship as well as the growing market demands promote the development of construction industry in Turkmenistan.


Today, Turkmen companies successfully compete with foreign firms. Our construction workers widely apply modern social and living standards, facilities under construction are equipped with all necessary communications, relevant infrastructures are created. The administrative centres of the regions are rapidly changing. New social facilities, office buildings, comfortable apartment houses and industrial enterprises are put into operation in the white-marble capital. The world-class health resort – the Avaza National tourism zone with new recreation centres, the international sea port and other facilities is rapidly developing on the Caspian seashore.

The three-day forum will provide numerous visitors with an opportunity to get acquainted with the multifaceted exhibition that vividly demonstrates the success of reforms implemented in our country.


The stands of departments and the largest enterprises of the industry demonstrate the dynamics of growth of the construction industry of Turkmenistan and its achievements.

The outline designs of various facilities, including administrative and office complexes, shopping and entertainment centres, apartment houses, demonstrate the prospects of development of rapidly changing towns and villages in our country.


A separate section is dedicated to road construction. The large-scale projects on creation of the transport infrastructure are implemented in Turkmenistan. The pavilions of the companies specializing in the construction of bridge crossings and multi-level interchanges on the main highways of the country and expositions of foreign companies offering willing to share their know-how in this field with our country are of particular interest among the visitors.


Foreign exhibitors will make presentations about their production capacities and work on the international markets that will help heads of industries, experts and businessmen to identify the key areas of partnerships with their foreign colleagues and discuss the issues of mutual interest.
