The results of the creativity competition among the students of the higher educational institutions of the country, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan is summarized. The competition was organized by the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
According to terms of the creativity competition, the participants have to write a journalistic article on the topic of the independence of Turkmen state. On the basis that among the competitors were students of different academic training programs, the author works were assessed by jury on two categories. The first category represented the future journalists, the second - students who study on other programs.
Suleyman Kovusov, a student of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, came in top place in the first category of participants. The second place won Gulshat Ahuniva (International University of Humanities and Development). And the third place - Tavus Akjayeva (Institute of International Relations of MFA).
The first category of competitors was comprised of the students if three above mentioned higher educational institutions, where the specialists are training on the Turkmen and International journalism programs. In general, representatives of ten Turkmen universities took part in the competition.
The winner of the second category was Ogulniyaz Allaberdiyeva, a student of the Institute of Telecommunications and Information of Turkmenistan. The second prize place won Bibipatma Mirzayeva (State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev), the third – Durdymuhammet Pashshiyev (Makhtumkuli STU).
The authors of best works - the winners and prize winners of competition were awarded with the Honorary certificates and valuable prizes.
According to organizers, the student works presented in the competition – are of various genre, and demonstrated the professional approach to execution, a deep thematic awareness, talent and creative potential of the participants.
Totally pleased and satisfied with the results, the organizers are planning to continue a practice of holding of such events for the students.
