The footballers of the youth national team of Turkmenistan (fewer than 23 years old) won the Palestinian team - 3: 1 in group "F" of the qualifying tournament, which is taking place in the capital of Jordan - Amman.

In the 18th minute, after lumbago from the right flank, the ball flew from the Palestinian defender to Shamammet Khidirov, who was in the area of the 11-meter mark, and he, immediately breaking through, opened the scoring.

The second half had barely begun when the Palestinian national team played a goal. On the 47th minute, almost from the center of the field, there followed a long overhead serve into the penalty area of our team, where the opponent's player jumped above everyone else and shot his head into the far corner. The ball treacherously hit the post and flew into the goal net.

In the 64th minute, Shamammet Khidirov, having issued a barrel, brought the team of Turkmenistan forward - 2: 1. And Velmyrat Ballakov consolidated the success of our team in the 88th minute. In the last goal it is worth noting the excellent individual actions of the team captain Begenchmyrat Myradov. After a magnificent pass on the left flank, he entered the penalty area, lured the opponent's goalkeeper and defender, gave an accurate pass to V. Ballakov, and he had no choice but to hit the empty goal of Palestine from 1 meter.

It was the second game of the Turkmen footballers in the qualifying tournament in Amman. In the first, having two great chances in the first half to score a goal, they lost to the Jordan national team in a bitter struggle - 0: 1 and now, after defeating the Palestinian team, they retain their chances of reaching the final stage of the 2022 Asia Cup. The fate of the first place in Group F will be decided on October 31 in the match between the national teams of Palestine and Jordan.

Recall that 42 teams, divided into 11 groups, are fighting for the 2022 Asian Youth Cup, which is being played for the 5th time.

The group winners and the top four runners-up with the best performers will qualify for the finals.

In the final tournament, which will be held from June 1 to June 19, 2022 in Tashkent, Uzbek footballers will join them as hosts.

According to the results of the final stage, which is qualifying, the three best teams will be eligible to represent Asia at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
