The football players of «Ahal» strengthened their leadership in the Turkmenistan championship, having won three games in a row. In the match of the 3rd round held in the capital stadium «Nisa», the team of Mergen Orazov won «Energetik» from Mary – 3:1.
Vice-champion of Turkmenistan got out to a lead in the 25th minute after a well-placed shot of Resul Hojayev. In the 51st minute Ilya Tamurkin achieved a two-goal lead of the team of «Turkmennebitonumleri» Main Department. Two minutes later, the guests thanks to the efforts of Orazmuhamed Ishankuliev got one back. But 12 before the end of normal time Pirmurad Sultanov hit the third goal in the net of «Energetik» team and salt a game away.
The match score could be more lopsided. But the captain of «Ahal» Elman Tagayev did not scored from a penalty in the 59th minute, awarded for knocking down of the home team’s player in the penalty area of guests. Leading with 4 scores in the list of hitmen E. Tagayev shot into right corner. But the goalkeeper of «Energetik» Batyr Geldiyev didn't allow л the best player of the AFC-2021 Cup on kick conversion to score a goal in the fourth match in a row. After this victory «Ahal» has 10 scores. «Shagadam» from Turkmenbashi is 3 points behind the leader, which inflicted in home match a second defeat in a row to «Altyn Asyr» – 4:2.
As reported in the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, at first nothing boded badly for the current champion of the country in this match, even after the footballer «Shagadam» Nazar Tovakelov in the 8th minute opened an account. In the 26th minute, Merdan Muhadov leveled the position - 1:1. And 6 minutes later Rovshengeldy Halmamedov took «Altyn Asyr» forward at all - 2:1.
3 minutes before the break in the game, the balance came again - 2:2 after Murad Yakshiev cut the ball into his own net. It is noteworthy that this is the second consecutive own goal of «Altyn Asyr» players since the beginning of the championship.
