IOSIO - (International Open Student Internet Olympiad) - intellectual competitions popular among students held under the auspices of the Research Institute for monitoring the quality of education and the National Endowment for Innovations in Education sphere (Russia). Designed to detect the real talented youth, able to conduct researches related to the market needs in high-tech sectors of the innovation economy, simultaneously held in dozens of basic higher educational establishment of different countries of the world. Participation in the Olympiads encourages students to a more deep research of the disciplines and application of acquired knowledge in practice.
Basic Higher educational establishments, where the subject tours of this multi-stage Olympiad were hosted, were the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the State Energy Institute. In these high schools, thanks to modern multimedia technologies the work of the subject rounds was broadcasted in open public video domain, and the members of Olympiads organizing committee could observe it online.
The Turkmen State University named after Mahtumkuli was the leader of Olympiads among the Turkmen high schools with the total number of different awards: including - 6 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze. Ogulsaray Artykova, Guvanch Nuriyev, Aziza Hudiyarova (chemistry), Mivegozel Geldiyeva (ecology), Polat Rozyev (physics), Mekan Toyjanov (theoretical mechanics) became the gold prize-winners.
In the second team place - International Oil and Gas University, the students of which have gained 24 awards - 4 gold, 10 silver and bronze correspondingly. "Gold" medals were awarded Begmuhammet Kakabaev, Ahmet Hudayberdiyev, Abdulrashid Cherkezov (informatics) and Ogulnur Artykova (chemistry). High school tutor - Head of the Informatics and Information technologies Department Maksat Churiev has noted that some of the students at the same time participated in tours of different disciplinary areas. For example, a double success accompanied Gulchehre Annadurdyeva, who won two medals - silver (ecology) and bronze (chemistry).
Having become a collective owner of 22 medals - 3 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze, team of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction has risen to the third step of the podium. University lecturer, National Coordinator of International Open Internet competition Ataberdy Ishankuliev underlined that for five years, TTSIAC becomes the basic platform for these intellectual contests, and its students have traditionally keep winning prize places. According to the results of the last intellectual relay, gold medals were awarded Begench Odemuradov (ecology), Shatlyk Akmuradov (theoretical mechanics), and Gulistan Guljagazova (chemistry).
Success also accompanied the regular participants of the Olympiad - students of the State Medical University, who were awarded 15 medals in total. Three of them are the students of medical, medico-preventive and sports medicine faculty Agabay Salaev, Agageldy Meredov and Eziz Nashiev, who have become the "gold" prize winners in chemistry and environment tours.
The students of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute (16 medals) and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (14 medals) have also reached good results. Representatives of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management (5 victories), the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi (5 victories), the Turkmen Agricultural University (4 victories) were also among prize-winners.
The basic platform for the Olympiads of three higher institutions has become the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the guests of which in the days of subject rounds were the representatives of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi, respectively located in the cities of Dashoguz and Turkmenabat.
As was told by the representative of the SEIT Gozel Saparlieva, each of these institutions has brought in total two gold medals to the intellectual receptacle of our country. Their owners are –Firuza Husenova, Mamajan Shukurova (TSPI), Shirinjemal Kamyljanova and Aygul Amannazarova (SEIT), Pena Atayev and Serdar Berdyev (TAI).
Another gold award belongs to the student of the Turkmen Agricultural University Meretmuhammet Hojanepesov.
