About 400 volunteers – mainly Turkmen students have become the participants of the festival organized by the Ministry of Education jointly with other higher educational establishments of the country. Students of the Ashgabat pedagogical school named after Aman Kekilov, for whom the participation in it will serve as experience acquiring in volunteer activity, have been invited as visitors of the forum.
The festival program included the colourful presentations prepared by all higher educational establishments – participants, in English, fluency of which is one of the basic criteria of volunteers’ preparation.
The interactive presentation of the Institute of sports and tourism has been devoted to the history of the Asian games. Volunteers’ team of the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the International university of humanities and development have acquainted with the countries-participants and volunteers of the forthcoming Aziada-2017. The students of the Turkmen state financial institute organized virtual travel to the Olympic township.
According to specificity of vocational training, the Medical university has presented presentation on the theme “medical aid rendering at competitions”, and in the centre of attention of volunteers from the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, there were the brands of the Asian games considered in the context of design execution.
Stage numbers of students of the International university of oil and gas, International Turkmen-Turkish university, Turkmen agricultural university, Turkmen state institute of economy and management, told about original picturesque traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, history and present day of the main city of the country – white-marbled Ashgabat, 500-day horse relay race - a prologue of Aziada-2017, as well as many-sided activity of volunteers.
Special mission - to prepare a creative video-review of the festival for mass-media, including, subject programs of the national television, has been assigned to the team of the Turkmen state institute of culture.
The concert program prepared by the students of the Turkmen national conservatory became a pleasant musical addition to the festival program. All participants of the volunteer review were awarded special certificates of honour.
