On the occasion of Day of Europe, it was devoted the lecture and orientation course to be held in the International University for Humanities and Development aimed at attracting students to learn Greek, Slovak, Romanian, Italian, Spanish, French, Lithuanian and German languages, which were conducted by native speakers, foreign specialists as well as Turkmen lecturers.


In the framework of these educational courses it was held brief presentations, which were introduced with history, culture, and traditions of nations state languages of which are drawn up the program on “European Week in Turkmenistan “of Institutes of Higher Learning. The event was organized with the support of diplomatic missions of European countries accredited in Turkmenistan.


The learning initiative, which was first ever organized by the International University for Humanities and Development, was contributed not only to the growth of educational level of future specialists -international affairs experts, but also to the predetermined choice of some students to study on their own the foreign languages not included in the list of the core disciplines of the institutes of higher learning.
