Bayram Charyev became the owner of two medals of the Greco-Roman wrestling world championship among sportsmen with hearing impairment

Inmate of invalids’ sports school of Ashgabat, the 10th class pupil of the capital Teaching and educational complex with improving centre won a rank of the world champion and a gold medal in a 63 kg weight category in final fight with the fighter from Iran. In freestyle wrestling competitions Bayram Charyev has been awarded a bronze award.


Representatives of 22 countries has taken part in these competitions, including the strongest fighters from Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Bulgaria, whom the Turkmen sportsman adequately resisted. Inmate of the deserved trainer of our country Nariman Shafiev, for the first time participated in the international level competitions, having shown magnificent sports training.


High sports results also accompany other pupils and graduates of the Teaching and educational complex with improving centre, who for the last years successfully take part in the international competitions. For example, in the World championship on Greek-Roman and freestyle wrestling in Bulgaria in 2012, Nagmat Kurbanov won a silver medal. In 2013 on Surd Olympic Games in Bulgaria, Hoja Azapov has won a bronze award. In 2014 in the World championship among cadets on Greek-Roman and freestyle wrestling in Yerevan, Seyran Besherov has been awarded two bronze medals.

Now pupils of Nariman Shafiev, who has devoted almost half a century to trainer's work, prepare for the next Surd Olympic Games that will take place in Ankara in 2017.
