Within the framework of the 15th Trade exhibitions of members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the exposition of production of Turkmenistan was opened for few days of this week. The exhibition of native export production was organized according to the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with related ministries and branch departments as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
As is known, in the beginning of May, during high-level negotiations within the course of official visit of the Leader of the Nation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia it was observed the presence of broad opportunities for the development of Turkmen-Saudi cooperation in different areas. During the meeting it was highlighted the appropriateness to conduct regular business meetings and forums, which favour the establishment of the closest contacts between potential partners, both government and private organizations. In this connection, in order to accumulate export and import potential and the growth of bilateral trade to consolidate economic relations, the Head of the State voiced his decision to send delegation of our country to the exhibition in Riyadh.
The exposition of Turkmenistan production displayed at the exhibition give opportunities to the numerous of visitors to get an idea about great achievements of our country in different spheres of national economy based on updated and high-technology industry, modern infrastructure of processing sectors which are able to produce wide choice of goods competitive on the world market.
The Turkmen entrepreneurs also take part in the exhibition is the evidence of the favourable conditions in our country for effective and dynamic development of small and medium businesses, and private initiative. These are the improvement of tax system and simplification of export and import operations, preferential tax treatment and crediting.
Creation of such environment promotes realization of the state programmes and large-scale measures initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aimed at intensive development of private sectors, internal market saturation with high quality goods of native production, accumulation of export production volumes, and enhancement of the role of native business in national economy.
