Leading experts of the International federation of sambo-wrestling - Yevgeniy Selivanov and Aleksander Polyakov, as well as the Chairman of board of judges of Russia - Boris Sova have been invited with this purpose. The seminar takes place in an indoor arena for training exercises, where the foreign visitors acquaint our judicial brigade with innovations in the international rules, confirmed in December, 2015. For example, now for a throw made in partier (in recumbent position), points are not added, a number of restrictions are introduced on painful holds, time of rendering of medical aid is increased, etc.
Russian experts, having familiarized with a venue of the Asia championship on sambo-wrestling, starting on May, 27th, have noticed that the sport centre of martial arts of the Olympic township corresponds to all international standards. In particular, Ye.Selivanov has put it in line with the most advanced sports facilities – venues of the world scale competitions. These are complexes in Kazan, where the World Student Games have been conducted (2014), and Moscow, where the championships and World Cup tournaments take place. According to visitors’ conclusion, henceforth Ashgabat has filled up the list of cities, where it is possible to hold competitions of such level.
430 sportsmen from more than 20 countries - China, Republic of Korea, Philippines, India, Singapore, Indonesia, etc., will take part in the forthcoming Asian championship. Tournament will include sports and fighting versions of “self-defense without weapon” (deciphering of sambo-wrestling) among men, women and juniors.
As is known, this kind of sport is included into the program of the V Asian indoor and martial arts games, and forthcoming competitions of the continental level are of test types. They will define not only the level of the Turkmen sportsmen preparation, but also organizing abilities of our experts, work of mass media, etc. Therefore, a present seminar that will last two days is considered as an important stage of preparation for "domestic" complex competitions.
According to the seminar results, the Turkmen experts will be submitted international certificates, granting authority to take part as judges in the largest competitions, including V Asian indoor and martial arts games.
Russian visitors will also render assistance in conduction of the Asian championship both, in respect of refereeing, and co-ordination of actions, including - in activity of volunteers’ brigade, who will serve the largest sports forum - Aziada-2017, next year.
