The tournament was held on May 27-29th within the limits of the World Cup stage of the Central Asian League on arena of the Republican specialized school of Olympic reserve on equestrian sports with participation of the strongest sportsmen from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. Our equestrians on Akhalteke racers, representing the National horseracing centre, have shown the best results, having taken the first and second places.
Thus, horseman Hajymyrat Gyshykov has overcome a 1,20 meters height obstacle course on Oguzkent stallion in the first place. Jockey Nikolay Beglaryan became the second on Toychy.

The success of the Turkmen equestrians on prestigious tournament testifies to their growing skill, as show jumping began developing in our country rather recently. And inclusion of given sport by the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the program of the V Asian indoor and martial arts Games – 2017, gave powerful impulse to this process.
Correspondingly, qualitative development has received both material-technical and training-methodical basis of this kind of equestrian sport. Thus, in April of this year, during celebrations on the occasion of the Holiday of the Turkmen racer, with participation of the leader of the nation, an open show jumping arena at the Ashgabat horse-racing complex has been put into operation.
The new object includes a 8,2 thousand square meters emulative show jumping platform and a training field for warm-ups. The area, arrangement and equipment of an arena allow to hold here tournaments of the highest international level.
Training centre with covered arena, equipped with multimedia technics, simulators - horse modulators and training apparatus for jockeys has been put into operation here two years ago.
International tournaments on show jumping, organized along with jumps and a horse marathon in honour of the Holiday of the Turkmen racer have become traditional in our country.
Our show jumping masters are trained under the direction of the instructor from Germany - Katarina Jacob. To her opinion, the level of the Turkmen equestrians during their teamwork has reached enough high level. During time left till Aziada-2017, it is necessary for them not to reduce the rate of trainings, and participate as frequent as possible in tournaments of various level, raising their skill.
