The Institute of Telecommunication and Informatics of Turkmenistan (ITIT) summarized the Online Olympiad on the information security among the students of the higher educational institutions of our country.

The intellectual competition was held in two rounds: individual and team. In general, 4 winners and 20 prize holders were determined on their results.

In the individual competition three winners were determined – Atageldy Didarov, Yusup Kurbanmamedov, the students of the institute-organizer and Kakamurat Atajanov, the student of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

5 second and 10 third places won the students of the above instituts, and Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Military Institute and Naval Institute of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Ya. Kakayev, S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.

In the team competition the group of students of ITIT won. 2 second places were awarded to the Turkmen Agricultural University and the International University of Oil and Gas named after Ya. Kakayev. 3 third places – in the list of the teams of the Naval Institute, Institute of National Security and Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.

The information security Olympiad was held for the purpose to assess the level of knowledge, competence of the students in application of the information technologies possibilities in the conditions of the modern digitalization of education.

It should be noted, that ITIT – is a young perspective special institute, where the specialists in management of the information, telecommunication and intellectual systems, digital technologies, electronics and innovation are successfully trained.

The representatives of the institute take active and effective part in the implementation of different projects, programs designed for the introduction and global development of digitalization in the educational sector as well as in all fields of the state and public life.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the teachers and students, the digital solutions are created, aimed at the increasing the comfort and security of the residents of the modern new buildings. It is also important the participation of the institute staff in the creation of sites, programs for the domestic institutions and departments, support of providing the population service and etc.

The contribution of ITIT to the promotion of the digital education – is also a great work, related to the progressive provision, organization and use of the possibilities of distance education.
