General Directorate of Sports and Youth Policy of Lebap Velayat held the sport competitions.

The athletics competition for gain Cup of Lebap velayat among the teams, which was held in the Multi-purpose sports complex of Turkmenabat city, was very fierce. 102 men and women spotsmen compete there on discus, shot put, javelin, hurdles, triple jump, long jump, high jump, and relay race. In the competition held among 7 teams consisted from 102 sportsmen the athlets of Turkmenabat city managed to win a convincing victory. The teams from Danev and Charjev etraps won the second and the third places, correspondingly.

12 teams participated in the competition held in the center of velayat on basketball game, which is played on a 3x3 court. In the interesting competitions, basketball players from Turkmenabat and Farap etraps performed more successfully and won prizes.

About 30 sportsmen took part in the velayat championship on cycle track held in the Multi-purpose sports complex of Turkmenabat city. In indidivual competition Shatlyk Shohradov won on sprint discipline at a distance 200 meters, and Dovlet Orunov was best among other sportsmen on track time trial at a distance 500 meters.

Letters of commendation and prizes from the General Directorate of Sports and Youth Policy of Lebap Velayat were presented to the teams and athletes who won the competitions and won prizes.
